We are not currently hiring staff engineers.

If you are interested in renting the studio for freelance work, the rate starts at $40/hr and is negotiable based on volume (how much work we have and how much work you want to do) and scheduling (studio availability and peak vs off hours). Feel free to contact us with a budget as your situation dictates.

If you are interested in an internship, drop off a resume and portfolio to our office, or via email to info@centralcityrecording.com. A few things to keep in mind:

• We only accept interns that are receiving school credit for their time. We cannot accept offers to work for free - we appreciate the initiative, but you need to value your time, even as a beginner, and we need to know you have something at stake, ie class credit, to make sure you show up...
• We expect interns to be available at least 30 hours per week. We have office hours 10am-4pm M-F, but sessions happen at all hours, so you will need to be flexible to get the most out of your experience. We will expect you to help out some around the office during the day, and it will be up to you to determine when there are sessions you can sit in on or assist with.
• Your internship is a job, and you will have responsibilities that include mopping, coffee making, and handing out flyers well before you get to tweak any knobs. We need to know you can handle these menial tasks if we’re going to trust you with our gear or our client’s work.
