Max Lewis is a producer and engineer for Central City Recording as well as a singer/songwriter in his own right. Though born in Columbus, Ohio, he has recorded projects both in the United States and in Europe. A multi-instrumentalist himself, he often lends his hands (and sometimes legs) to projects with his guitar, bass, piano, and drum-playing skills, as well as with his growing collection of exotic instruments that can often be found at the studio. His areas of expertise range from abstract to pop, and he has recorded local musicians and bands that range from talented folk acts to local grind-core pioneers. He likes found sounds. He thinks Donald Fagan's Nightfly is brilliant, speaks Italian, and was named after Max Headroom.
